The purpose of every branch of children’s ministry is to introduce children to Salvation through Jesus Christ, and to teach and train young believers how to live effectively for Christ. We aim to reinforce biblical truths so that they have a solid Christian foundation to grow upon as they mature into adulthood. The following ministries are offered:

Sunday Mornings: 9:30 – 11:30 A.M.

  • Nursery is available for children up to the age of 2.
  • Children ages 3 through kindergarten attend Preschool Church where they hear a Bible lesson, learn memory verses, do crafts, sing, and play games.
  • Those in grades 1 through 6 participate in Junior Church.  The class time consists of Bible lessons, learning Bible verses, singing, and a continued story (usually about missionaries or outstanding Christians). Special days also include games, crafts, or worksheets.  At Christmas the children present a Christmas play to the congregation.

Sunday Evenings: 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.

  • Nursery is available.
  • A class is available for ages 3 to 5.
  • Children in grades 1 through 6 may participate in Patch the Pirate Club.  Their meeting time includes studying the Bible, memorizing Scripture, and learning songs that they sing for the entire congregation occasionally.

Wednesday Evenings: 7:00 – 8:15 P.M.

  • Nursery is available.
  • Ages 3 through 5 have their own class.
  • Grades 1 to 6 are involved in Olympians, where they have a song time, and active game time, and a Bible lesson. Weekly lessons mainly focus on the lives of Biblical persons and what the children can learn from them. Teachers encourage the children to read the lessons from the Bible during class and, and daily quiet time diaries are provided to use at home. They also have at least three fun nights and outings each year.
